Who We Are
HSAA Cross Country is a competitive HS and MS Team Sport for both boys’ and girls’ teams.
Middle School is made up of grades 6th through 8th.
High School is made up of grades 9th through 12th.
Program Cost
For the 2023 HSAA CC Season, cost is $225 for middle school and $250 for high school. (Does not include Uniforms)
Uniforms
Uniforms $40 for Jersey and $40 for Shorts. (HSAA Track and Field and CC use the same uniforms.) We are using the same uniforms from the 2021/2022 seasons; we are not changing uniforms. These are the same uniforms that Track and Field used for the 2022/2023 season.
Tryouts
We do not have tryouts, but we do expect each runner to be able to run 3 miles without having to stop before our first practice. We want to start the season off with getting our athletes into racing shape, not running shape.
Fall Practice
Starts Tuesday August 1, 2023 and will be held every Tuesday and Thursday into October.
Location: Hoblitzelle Park
Address: 7500 Red River Dr. Plano, TX 75002
Time: 7PM to 9PM until it gets too dark, then it changes to 6PM to 8PM starting in September
There will be additional practice options on other days of the week; more information on times and locations will be shared at a later date.
Meets
Meets begin mid-August 2023, and post season ends in the middle of November.
Meets are normally held on Saturday Mornings, and all teams run at together at most (not all) meets.

Running a top-notch sports organization requires a significant amount of financial support, and your contribution will help us reach our goals. HSAA exists to provide home-schooled students with benefits of participation in organized team sports. We are committed to modeling and teaching Christian character traits, including self-discipline, self-respect, respect for authority, and good sportsmanship.

A current (within the past year) physical is required BEFORE any athlete may try out, practice, or play. If the physical's anniversary date falls during the tryout process or season, parents are responsible for turning in an updated physical. The form below is only a sample. Any form used by your medical practitioner is fine. Boy Scout physicals are acceptable, too.
THESE POLICIES MUST BE READ AND WILL BE ASKED IF YOU READ THEM DURING REGISTRATION PROCESS.
YOU DO NOT HAVE TO SIGN AND OR RETURN ANY OF THE POLICIES.
